A little shop has opened its doors in London town called Gorilla Perfume (over in Camden Passage, Islington). At first glance you’d think this to be a boutique store – it is, however, an arm of LUSH. But unlike LUSH, you are able to actually step inside the store and breathe…
With a multitude of fragrances there is something for everyone and nearly all products are available online with worldwide shipping.
My personal favourite two items are a solid perfume, one that is called ‘Dirty’. It comes in a little pot ready to melt directly on to your wrists and neck for an immediate dose of its minty, fresh scent.
The whole solid perfume range is great, especially when it comes to traveling. It’s compact, light and doesn’t have to be placed in a clear separate bag.
There are some bold items available and the descriptions available online and in store sum them up perfectly. One I particularly appreciate is called The Bug.
The names given to the scents have an idea or philosophy behind them, The Bug, for instance, is said to be “An unsettling and disjointed perfume with hits of galbanum, an undertone or sandalwood. A reflection of our fractured society.”
If you get that kind of story from you perfume or cologne that’s great, but to me this scent is alive and energising… also works well for men and woman – as do most of the scents on offer.
The range is vast and the prices are cheap! So simply log on to lush.com to see the vast array of perfume or pop in store.
